In depth
Verdict
We will take a chance on Ballykiln here, with his main dangers given as Superrollercoaster and Taksina. Ballykiln is only lightly-raced and is surely better than he has so far shown. That inference can be drawn given that he attracted money at Huntingdon last time but was unlucky enough to be brought down. In a race where you can place negatives against the name of a number of his opponents, he gets the vote. Superrollercoaster has been very consistent this season, winning two of his last three races, and even though he has been raised six pounds for being narrowly beaten last time, he should still give a good account of himself today. Taksina won from today's mark back in 2005 and has shown enough in recent runs to be given each-way claims, particularly if being allowed to dominate. The selection, though, is Ballykiln.
