Verdict
A bumper rounds off proceedings and the market may well be the best guide as to what is expected of the newcomers but the main protagonists look to be Thorntoun Holm, Travelling Warrior and Anflora and we will take a chance on Thorntoun Holm. The gelding is a well bred sort from a yard that does well in this sphere and although he is bred to be better over further he will not need to be out of the top draw to score. Travelling Warrior is another well bred sort but his stable are not known for there first time out winners so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Anflora is a gelding by Alflora and he also appeals on breeding but he may do better over a longer trip, any significant move for any of the newcomers should be noted but we are happy to sick with Thorntoun Holm.
