In depth
Formwatch
Baracouda (FR) Top class French hurdler who was very impressive at Ascot on only run in Britain so far. Very hard to oppose if in that sort of form.
Master Beveled Has been a consistent performer over the years, just below top class. However, signs that he may not be quite as good as he was and only place claims at best here.
Kates Charm (IRE) Consistent performer who won well at Ascot in November, but has disappointed in two subsequent outings. Generally reliable though and could be run into a place.
Concert Pianist Has progressed well this season but is only a novice and this would appear to be asking too much of him.
Hulysse Royal (FR) Still relatively lightly-raced, but well beaten in Tote Gold Trophy last time and this is no easier.
Leopard Rock (IRE) Ex-irish, having first run for new connections but it would be a surprise if he was good enough to trouble the principals in this.
Mr Markham (IRE) Talented sort who seems sure to come on for reappearance at Sandown, and has every chance of making the frame at least.
Serenus (USA) Kempton specialist who seems equally adept over hurdles and fences, but may just be out of his depth in this.
Solo Mio (IRE) Has failed to stay three miles on recent efforts, and should be more effective over this distance, but still appears to face a stiff task.
Momentous Jones Looks outclassed here, and relatively exposed.
