    Verdict

A most uninspiring betting heat and, barring accidents, this is surely at the mercy of Marcus William. Brendan Powell's charge was predictably outclassed behind the smart Classified in a valuable conditions event over course and distance last month but was far from disgraced and meets nothing of that calibre in this. The son of Roselier had previously finished strongly to land a novice event over two furlongs less here in January and cannot be opposed over his optimum trip in this weak affair. Rohan has struggled to last home over shorter in bumpers and showed nothing on his hurdling debut to suggest that he can trouble the selection so Themanfromcarlisle, who is moderate but takes a significant drop in grade, looks the one for the forecast.
