In depth
Verdict
Earthmover is taken to win the race that is named in his honour under his optimum conditions. He was brought down last time out but in the hope that his confidence has not been affected this game old campaigner is taken to score, and he will prove to be a very popular winner. County Derry rates the main danger but his best form is over a longer trip on a faster surface and for that reason he is opposed. Mrs Be is a fair sort in point-to-points but has failed to reproduce that form over regulation fences while Primitive Rites is better with more cut in the ground, so for the winner we return to Earthmover.
