        Verdict

        A tough bumper to call here for punters with many of the top stables represented and as usual the market will be all important but the principals look to be Nice Horse, Aspiring Actor and Narukha Rajput and the vote is given to Nice Horse. The selection hails from the Martin Pipe yard and this well-bred French gelding is taken to score on his debut. Aspiring Actor showed he had improved for his first run when second behind Venice Road last time out but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over. Narukha Rajput represents top connections and is another to note in the market while Little Grace is another that has shown some ability. This race throws up more questions than answers but for the winner we return to Nice Horse.
