Verdict

SOUTHFIELD VIC hasn’t raced since November but has already achieved a rating of 138 and should be up to winning this on his return to action. Runners from his yard rarely arrive at the track undercooked. Weststreet hasn’t been finishing off his race and is now tried in blinkers but looks booked for a minor role again. Bugsie Malone has won at Kempton this year and still has time on his side, though would be getting 16lb not 6lb were this a handicap.
