      Verdict

Classi Maureen is nominated ahead of Mollycarrsbreakfast and Eljay's Boy. Classi Maureen has been busy in the pointing sphere and as a consequence, her absence from the track meant that the handicapper had no chance of assessing her. Backed off the boards on Sunday, it would be no surprise to see those punters getting involved again on Thursday. Mollycarrsbreakfast won under an enterprising ride at Market Rasen. He holds his form well but would not wish to see any overnight rain. Eljay's Boy has let down favourite backers on each of his last three starts. A hold up performer, backers can expect to see him making headway inside the final mile. The Newsman is an old favourite around here and while his recent form scarcely inspires, he can never be ruled out. Saby looks to have been on the downgrade since some eyecatching performances as a novice. River Bailiff has place opportunities if truly staying today's trip. A competitive affair but Claasi Maureen is potentially ahead of the assessor and we seek not to oppose.
