Verdict
Another moderate event and this looks a good opportunity for Klondike Charger while Moral Justice and The Hearty Joker are others to consider. The selection has been called a few choice names in the past but goes particularly well at this track and landed a gamble here last week to end a long losing sequence. The Crafty Prospector gelding incurs a 7lb penalty but is still well treated on his old form and the drop in trip should pose no problems so he should prove hard to beat under regular rider Andrew Thornton. Moral Justice has been running creditably in defeat since landing a Newton Abbot handicap in June and, despite taking a fair hike up the weights, should prove no pushover while The Hearty Joker is 5lb higher compared to a runaway victory at Market Rasen last month and can't be ruled out but Klondike Charger should take the beating in his current form.
