Verdict
Bollitree Bob can complete a hat-trick, with Knocker Jock, Nesnaas and We Got Him seen as the main dangers. Bollitree Bob has really come to himself this summer, and it is no coincidence that his run has coincided with the ground firming up, at least on the tracks that he has visited. Successful here and at Market Rasen last time, he is taken to once again make all, despite a tendency to jump to his right. Knocker Jock made a successful start over fences at Stratford 10-days ago, and now carries a 7lb penalty. Marcus Foley, who had been schooling him at home prior to his win, is in the plate again, so he should go well. Nesnaas will like the underfoot conditions, but has not won for a year, and appears a shade high in the weights at present, while We Got Him is learning all the time but is best watched. Bollitree Bob has obvious claims, and is the one to beat.
