Verdict

Baileys Best is taken to land the opener at the expense of Dazzling Jim and Warpath. The selection is rated in the seventies on the flat and has only run twice to date over hurdles in Ireland. He comes here after having a fair break and will need to be fit to do himself justice but if transforming his flat form then he will have to be one on the short list. Dazzling Jim did win at Stratford in June and has put in some decent performances since in defeat. He comes from a yard doing well at present and lost nothing in defeat behing Gland Slam Hero at Newton Abbot last time out so any market moves should be noted. Warpath is having his first run for Evan Williams since leaving Ireland. His form looks moderate enough and the stable have been a little quiet of late but having said that the yard do well with ex Irish imports so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Baileys Best.
