Verdict
Saragann gets the vote here with Bill Owen, Bobosh and Klondike Charger heading the list of dangers and we will take a chance on Saragann. The selection was a fair fourth behind Sir Storm a couple of runs ago and that form has since been franked. He was very disappointing behind Athnown last time but with this smaller field and faster surface sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Bill Owen rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Hisair but that was 278 days ago and he may just need the run so for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Bobosh was a fair third behind Bolton Barrie last time out and is another with place claims but he is very one paced and looks opposable on that basis. Of the remainder Klondike Charger was a fair fourth behind Genuine Article last time but his best form is over further. The remainder have shown very little of late and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Saragann.
