Fleurette returns to the scene of her recent defeat, and can make amends at the expense of Albert House, Coach Lane and Nobel Bleu de Kerpau. Fleurette proved that she was going the right way when just touched off in heavy going at Chepstow in November, and it was no surprise when she duly went one better at Lingfield next time. David Gandolfo's mare has since been highly tried, behind Pirate Flagship at Cheltenham, and then ran well against Treaty Flyer in a mares' only affair here 10 days ago. Her conqueror is highly-rated by connections, so that was a good effort, and this slight drop back in trip will not be a problem. Albert House ran a blinder when just failing to get the better of a battle with Amanpuri over further here 10 days ago, and it is interesting that the latter declines a rematch. Robert Alner's charge should go close, and makes slightly more appeal than topweight Coach Lane. The small stable of Peter Winkworth has been in great form of late, so Nobel Bleu de Kerpau may run well enough without having the experience to make an impact. Fleurette can prove too good for them all in the finale.
