Verdict
American Spin hasn't many miles on the clock for his age and has only found one too good in runs at Uttoxeter and Newton Abbot. He will go close if he stays this longer trip while Getmeouthedoldrums is fancied to reverse Worcester running with Akbabend on 8lb better terms, though Tom Cannon claims 5lb off the latter. Quartz Du Montceau is an out-and-out stayer and won't mind the ground but he's better known as a chaser and hasn't raced since February so preference is for AGHILL. Probably also better over fences nowadays, he also has some decent form over timber nevertheless and will be better suited by conditions here than when a beaten favourite at Plumpton last month.
