Not many of these can be given a realistic chance and Brads House looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account over hurdles with Mt Desert and Tavalu rated the main dangers. The selection is nothing out of the ordinary but his form is easily the best in this contest and it will be surprise if Tony McCoy's mount is not good enough in this company. Almavara has shown promise in three starts over hurdles and is entitled to respect, while Peter Bowen's Smemi An Nada may be better than he has shown so far. Timmy Murphy is an interesting booking for The Iron Giant but a bigger threat is likely to come from Mt Desert. Charlie Mann has his string in good form right now and the son of Rainbow Quest is open to plenty of improvement on only his second start over hurdles. Gary Moore has a good record with his runners at Fontwell so Tavalu has to be respected but Brads House sets a decent standard and he gets the vote.
