Verdict
Borehill Joker is well treated on his hurdles form but has had plenty of chances off a similar mark in the past and he looks worth taking on, with preference for Percipient, who gets the vote over Ashgan. The last mentioned has slipped to a fair mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late and his losing run looks set to continue. River Amora was still there with every chance when falling at Towcester last time and cannot be discounted, while Damien's Choice has been given a chance by the handicapper. Jandal has had a break and comes here fresher than most so is another worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Percipient. David Gandolfo's seven-year-old lost no caste in defeat behind the improving Mr Bigglesworth at Bangor last time and a reproduction of that effort may suffice.
