Verdict

Generous Chief has done well since reverting to hurdles but is still creeping up the weights. At First Light came back to form with a second at Uttoxeter, though was no match for the easy winner. YOUNG DILLON's run at Cartmel a month ago was a rare failure. Cheekpieces are fitted here and it would be no surprise to see Richard Newland's gelding return to his best. Theatrical Star and Horace Hazel will probably both be back over fences shortly while Letemgo has a lot to prove at present.
