In depth

Verdict

An interesting opener. DANDY MAG hasn't run since placed in a Grade 1 hurdle at Auteuil over two years ago but will be ready for this and could be smart at this game. He makes his chasing debut as does four-times winning hurdler Dorans River, who arrives in top form having scored at Ballinrobe last month. Early Doors is another first-timer but looks a cracking prospect having won the Martin Pipe when last seen in March while Minella Times put a poor chasing debut behind him when runner-up at Kilbeggan, though will need to find more. Grade 3-winning hurdler Rathnure Rebel has been a bit disappointing so far over fences but From Eden has come up against some smart performers since turning to the bigger obstacles.
