Verdict

Tony Martin has had a brilliant Festival and Nearest The Pin will be expected to go well for the yard, especially with Ruby Walsh in the saddle. He's only won once in his career but has competed at a high level and his most recent performance behind Sizing Italy at Killarney was an improved effort. Aughnacurraveel, three times a winner over hurdles, has run twice over fences, both times in Grade 3 company where he wasn't disgraced. He looks a threat but it's DARWINS FOX, who has been placed in four of his five starts over fences and ran well on the Flat here on Wednesday, who gets the vote under Andrew Lynch. Pass The Hat hasn't done as well as expected over fences but could prove best of the remainder.
