Verdict

INGLEBY MACKENZIE completed a double in June then scored on the Flat at Killarney. With Katie O'Farrell's claim a bonus he can continue his winning ways. Matin D'Anjou won a chase at Wexford last month and can run from a 12lb lower mark back over timber while Castlehume was returning from a very long break when mugging Persian Wind on the line at Bellewstown. Hearts Are Trumps made a fine start to his career in handicaps when scoring at Clonmel and though 8lb higher he had a bit in hand so should get into contention again. Kellyiscool was having only his fourth start and making his handicap debut when just failing to reel in Storm Rising over the course and distance on Monday and with further progress likely has to be on the shortlist along with third-placed Golden Poet and the unexposed Sil Ver Klass.
