Verdict

Mt Leinster was just beaten over 1m6f on the level here on Friday evening but VADO FORTE (NAP) is 6lb lower in the weights than when beating stablemate Benefit Run half-a-length in this 12 months ago. Ross O’Sullivan looks to have laid out the 10-year-old for a repeat given he wasn’t given a hard time when third at Punchestown in June. Sole Pretender won in a higher grade at Killarney last month and Robbie Geoghegan takes off a handy 7lb again and Tipperary winner Roseys Hollow has a good strike-rate. Hereditary Rule is 5-15 for John McConnell and is another to consider but Mr Saxobeat unseated his rider at an early stage here on Friday.
