Verdict

ALVEENA didn't get the best of runs when just touched off by Catalyst at Wexford and the longer trip can enable her to get off the mark. However, any major support for Spin Point on his belated debut should be taken seriously as Jim Bolger's expensive Pivotal colt is a half-brother to several winners, including the Dewhurst winner Intense Focus. Bolger also runs Robertstown, a 280,000 euros foal who had just one run last summer, while Deor has been going very well in handicaps including a very strong event at the Festival where he wasn't far behind the useful Clondaw Warrior.
