Verdict

Minella Beau made a winning start over hurdles on this course and also scored here on his debut over fences. He blundered his way around when beaten a distance behind stable companion Robin Des Foret at Listowel but this track appears to bring out the best in him. Woods Well made a winning debut over fences at Fairyhouse a year ago then raced in very strong handicaps over much further so his form figures don't do him justice. Velocity Boy hasn't progressed after scoring over this trip at Punchestown but if RASHAAN runs like he did when beating a strong field to land a Grade 3 over 2m2f here in August he'll take the world of beating as he's won over 3m over hurdles so the trip shouldn't pose a problem.
