Verdict

Dual hurdles winner Bel Ami De Sivola made a promising start over fences on his reappearance at Navan behind Call The Taxie, who runs in the previous race. Damut's close fourth behind A Toi Phil at Leopardstown in January would put him in the frame though he hasn't replicated that form subsequently. Calino D'airy should make a chaser in time as should Uaintseenothingyet, though Barry Geraghty has chosen to ride Close Shave over the latter and his mount will be better for his recent chasing debut on this track. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler MIDNIGHT ESCAPE has always looked a potentially useful chaser and Gordon Elliott's five-year-old is taken to make a successful debut.
