In depth

Verdict

FORGE MEADOW has won at Grade 2 and Grade 3 level over hurdles and though pulled up on her last two starts they were in top company and she looks a very smart recruit to the chasing ranks as her pedigree is all about the bigger obstacles. Dawn Shadow, a Listed winner over timber, made an encouraging start over fences at Sligo last month, her first start since May, so she'll be better for the run and she holds Minnies Secret on that form while Mrs Lovett, a winner over hurdles in France, did nothing wrong when just failing to concede 7lb to Jaime Sommers on her chasing bow at Tipperary. High School Days completed a hat-trick over hurdles around this time a year ago and any more rain would do her chances no harm on her chasing debut.
