In depth

Verdict

Another incredibly tough handicap to fathom. Gudnis Gracious Me had been in superb form on her first two runs this year but was soon beaten on the Flat at Tipperary last month. She's much better than that as is Benefit Of Porter, another who ran poorly last time after several cracking efforts. She was conceding a couple of pounds to APT MANOR when Willie Mullins' mare scored at Tramore and wasn't beaten far but the winner is looking a very progressive type who will take some beating here. Black Rock Lake sauntered home to land a Kilbeggan maiden and looks well treated but the biggest threat may emerge in the shape of Clarach, a very consistent performer who has run well on the Flat recently.
