In depth

Verdict

Banna Man won this a year ago and though running well he's a long way out of the handicap this time. NORTHER BAY had Armaramak just over three lengths behind at Listowel and, as that was only his second run of the year. he should confirm the form and can take this. Salesin won a couple of races over timber in April and reverted to the bigger obstacles with an easy victory at Wexford. He should go well and again have the measure of Truckers Delight, who was six lengths behind that day and has since run well at this fixture. Scotsirish ran very well in the Plate but that's likely to have left it's mark while the once useful Salford City hasn't shown much for a while though he looks the best of Gordon Elliott's trio.
