Barnet Fair won last year's renewal and Seeking Magic was successful in 2013. Neither have won a race since but both are back on a winning mark. Fast Track found only stablemate Red Baron too good in a hot sprint at Musselburgh last time while Golden Steps will be looking to reverse latest running with Charles Molson on better terms. Direct Times and Major Jack should go well but another four -year-old in JAN VAN HOOF is preferred. Richard Fahey's charge improves with every run and though carrying a penalty for a recent victory at Newmarket, there looks more to come and he makes more appeal than stablemates Canyari, Lexi's Hero and Arctic Feeling. Holley Shiftwell drops in class and Mubtaghaa makes his handicap debut having competed in pattern company so far this year. Shore Step has a shout and Olivier Peslier's presence on Links Drive Lady takes the eye.
