        Verdict

        An amateur riders race to start the card, Simon Walker is one of the best around and he can land this contest wth Doctor's Cave, Lady Duxyana and Height Of Spirits could be the main rivals. The selection has been in good form this season, landing two handicaps at Southwell before running well in a class four contest at Warwick. Back in this low grade and with ground in his favour he can regain the winning thread. Lady Duxyana went close on faster ground last time out, finishing well over the seven furlong trip at Salisbury. The extra furlong shouldn't be a problem but the ground is a bit of a concern. Height Of Spirits returns to the turf on a very decent mark and was running well on the all-weather during the winter. Prince Valentine represents a shrewd yard so is one to watch in the betting, but Doctor's Cave does look to have the best form on show and he gets our vote.
