Desert Lord is very quick out of the blocks but the feeling is that he sometimes burns himself out in front and doesn't quite get home; therefore we will side with Wi Dud ahead of Tax Free and Enticing. Kevin Ryan's three-year-old ran well in defeat last time out when only going down by a head to Hoh Mike at Sandown. He appears to be at his best over this minimum trip and with more improvement to come (has only had eight starts to date), he is fancied to score. Enticing actually beat the selection (by a short head) as a two-year-old and William Haggas' filly has been running consistently well so far this season. However she was turned over as a hot favourite at Ayr recently and may just be better suited to slightly smaller fields. Turn On The Style has good early gears and must have a good chance on this track, whilst Tax Free sets the real benchmark having won nine of his 20 starts and representing the 'King of the sprint trainers' Dandy Nicholls, he must be afforded plenty of respect. Moorhouse Lad and old favourites Celtic Mill and The Tatling know what it takes to win so both have more than just a squeak, however Wi Dud is on the upgrade and is taken to record his first win as a three-year-old.
