Verdict

Mark Johnston has won this twice in recent years and has three engaged here with Ryan Moore's presence on SOFIA'S ROCK catching the eye after he bounced back to form with a fine effort in the Group 3 Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket. Hochfield and Londinium also represent the yard and both arrive in strong enough form to be considered, especially the former who will be staying on when others have cried enough. Charlie Appleby also has a trio with Secret Advisor very much the leading light after a cracking effort behind Stadivarius in the Queen's Vase where he stayed on strongly over that extended 1m6f. First Nation also ran a fine race at the Royal fixture and he's progressing well enough to get into contention while any further rain would aid the cause of On To Victory.
