      Verdict

One for minimum stakes and IGUACU is a speculative suggestion. The gelding landed a couple of low-grade handicaps during the winter and stayed on at one pace recently to pinch the minor placing in a Brighton handicap won by Astroleo. He'll receive excellent assistance from the saddle and can get involved off his lowly mark. Laconicos didn't do badly under today's pilot in a similar contest at Newbury last time and other recent efforts have indicated that he'll break his duck on the level. He's an each-way possible, as are Lunar River and Madame Boot, especially the latter if translating some fair all-weather form to turf. Megalala landed this last year so must make the shortlist despite an absence.
