In depth

Verdict

Striking The Wind ran no sort of race at Southwell last time, but his earlier second at Beverley would give him every chance. However, Mark Johnston complicates matters by running newcomer Tmaam, who shares the same owner as his stablemate. To The Spring failed to improve on her promising Newmarket debut last time and Marcus Tregoning has a rare runner at this track in debutant Munaawib, but preference is for ROYAL HUSH. She was caught close home by Adaria, now rated 80, at Doncaster in April and Kevin Ryan's filly may well be ahead of the handicapper.
