In depth

Verdict

VOLTAIC look quite nicely treated on his first start for Tony Carroll. He has a modest 1-19 strike rate on Turf but it's interesting that his new handler immediately steps him up in trip, especially as his best performance in the past year was a third over course and distance last August. Limelighter, also weighted to go well, returns to the Flat and should prove competitive off a mark of 62 while Spirit Warning and Frozen Waters have claims. Defilade is also worth a market check on a first start in the UK as hinted at ability in Ireland.
