Verdict
Ten Meropa was an easy scorer in maiden company at Wolverhampton and can follow up here, with Flawed Genius, Fol Hollow and Vhujon perhaps the main dangers. The selection scored over the same trip as today's when beating Bailey a length-and-a-half and Jamie Osborne probably had his eye on this before the colt took his chance that day. He gets in on a mark of 85, which does not look bad and there was definitely more where that Wolverhampton win came from so he is given the nod. Flawed Genius drops back from a Salibury 7f success to this trip today. However, that should not unduly inconvenience as he was able to make the pace that day and he will probably try for a repeat now. Fol Hollow steps back up in trip after a win at the minimum in a Musselburgh maiden. That was an improvement on his previous form and there is no reason why he can't raise the bar again. Vhujon would like the ground to dry, Dark Tara is open to plenty of improvement and should be watched in the market along with Luscious Lips who comes from a yard going well and won't be far away. But Ten Meropa impressed last time and can step up to the mark.
