Verdict
A tricky betting medium with plenty of guesswork required in order to gauge apparent progression over the winter. Nantyglo falls very much into that camp and we will select her ahead of Heat Of The Night and Sweet Treat. Michael Bell's charge looked to progress for her racing and on pedigree, there is every reason to suggest that she should have trained on. The proof of the pudding is very much in the eating. Heat Of The Night ran a solid race in the Valiant Stakes at Newbury last term. She looked in need of the run at Kempton and should be capable of some improvement on the bare form of that performance. Sweet Treat was campaigned at Group level when trained by John Oxx in Ireland. The market is watched on this occasion. Little Miss Gracie has few problems with the going but has a few pounds to find on all known evidence. Salamanca has ran well in the past at this track although connections will be hoping for overnight rain to for her chances to be increased. Not the best of betting mediums but if Nantyglo has held her form, she is the obvious formbook choice.
