In depth
Verdict
East Asia bids for a hat-trick on faster ground having beaten Dancing Harry when scoring over track and trip. Call My Bluff won a lower grade contest at Nottingham but Ship Of The Fen scored easily at Doncaster and can figure again. Hiroshima won at Ascot last month and True Destiny scored over 1m6f at Wolverhampton but a chance is taken on the unexposed LYDFORD (NAP) lasting home. Fourth over 1m4f at York last time, Roger Varian’s charge is a half-brother to the high-class stayer Big Orange with an entry in the Northumberland Plate later in the month.
