Joseph O’Brien has booked Shane Fitzgerald for the well-bred Asserted, who has yet to race under Rules having last run between the flags in 2019. Gali Flight has shown potential in two maidens and this shouldn’t take much winning while Kavanaghs Cross has shown enough to suggest a race of this nature would be within his capabilities. Possible backers would have to forgive what looked a poor run from THREE BY TWO last time but she looks to have the credentials to get off the mark. She pulled a shoe when long odds-on at Clonmel and is much better judged on her previous run behind Mt Leinster Gold at Fairyhouse.
