Verdict
Marcus Tregoning has been patient with Nuzooa this term and that patience is expected to reap dividends in a race where Blaze Of Colour and Light Wind are rated the main dangers. The selection would not have an obvious chance on the form of her two starts since landing a Newbury maiden in June but the daughter of A P Indy is less exposed than her rivals and, with the stable in good form at present, there are valid reasons for expecting an improved display today. The Mark Tompkins-trained Sand And Stars has struggled against the handicapper since winning at Ripon in July and a bigger threat may come Sir Michael Stoute's Blaze Of Colour. The daughter of Rainbow Quest has been beaten two lengths in each of her last two starts in similar company and has to be respected off just a 1lb higher mark today, representing her powerful connections. Henry Cecil's Posteritas sprung a surprise when landing a Listed handicap at Yarmouth in August but has twice disappointed since then and of more interest may be Light Wind. Amanda Perrett's filly, a dual distance winner, remains open to further improvement but preference is for Nuzooa, who is taken to give Marcus Tregoning another winner.
