    Verdict

Along with Dynamic Drive, Foxhaven is a previous C&D winner and still capable of producing decent form despite his advancing years. Patrick Chamings' nine-year-old didn't get the run of the race at Epsom last time. But the one to beat is probably RASTABAN, who receives weight all round and was a comfortable winner at Thirsk last time. William Haggas' three-year-old is 5lb higher here but that may not be enough to prevent a follow-up. Aldwick Bay was just edged out over a slightly shorter trip here two weeks ago but the handicapper may have over-reacted to that effort and the colt may have to settle for a place again here. Kings Bayonet, successful at Newbury two runs ago, looks best of the rest.
