Several of these tend to reserve their best for this track, including South Cape and Salient. It wouldn't be a surprise if either was to be in the firing-line in this but we're going to give another chance to fellow course specialist MOYNAHAN. The top weight invariably flatters to deceive but this is the first time he's dropped into this grade and the six-year-old is now 3lb lower than when successful over C&D in May last year. His stable is also in decent form at present. Romantic Wish won by six lengths at Newbury two runs ago but could defy a penalty at Newmarket last time and has been raised a further 5lb since, while First Cat usually finds at least one too good. Take It To The Max may be the pick of the remainder.
