Verdict
Top weight ROTATIVE is in the form of his life right now and can continue in his winning ways, while Alnwick and Hawridge King both have decent form figures to their name and warrant respect. The selection comes from the Walter Swinburn yard and having won well at Nottingham last time out he now has the burden of six extra pounds to carry. He is still only lightly raced and with further improvement to come he will be difficult to oppose. Alnwick won nicely at Kempton on his penultimate outing and was not discredited at Warwick last time out after finishing third of five. He still looks weight to win a race of this nature so the market should be monitored. Hawridge King is another to be short listed as he comes into the race in great form. He was not beaten far into second spot at Chester last month and another bold effort can be expected. Rotative looks the form horse in the race and is the percentage call.
