      Verdict

      Black Baccara was engaged at Nottingham yesterday with a very good chance and would be an obvious threat if taking her place here. ATHWAAB, withdrawn at Brighton yesterday, is better known as a Polytrack performer and has won from higher marks than this. He has been in excellent form recently under today's rider and is still well enough handicapped to gain his seventh career victory. Simple Rhythm has had 20 runs since last successful yet is still 1lb higher while Commandingpresence has yet to win a race despite having 46 starts. Sherjawy should go well as he's best over a quick 5f and is well treated while Six Wives is 10lb lower than when scoring at Wolverhampton in February, though she's never won on turf.
