      Verdict

Chinkara's running in the 3:15 will give an indication to the chances of Bowing but John Gosden's colt is given the vote over the unexposed Mutajjeb and Amanda Perrett's Silver City. The selection was having only his fourth career outing, and his first of the season, when a creditable third behind Chinkara at Kempton earlier in the month and, having been dropped 1lb since then, the son of Desert Prince has solid claims. Mutajjeb is open to improvement after just three starts but faces no easy task on his handicap debut and a bigger danger to the selection is Silver City. Amanda Perrett's colt is still a maiden but looked as though his turn would be coming before too long when second to Almizan at Thirsk last time (Golano held). Of the others, Seattle Express should appreciate the step up in trip, while Sovereign Dreamer should get maximum assistance from the saddle with Kieren Fallon booked.
