      Verdict

      In what is a very good race, we will shortlist Vanderlin, Court Masterpiece and Leitrim House and side with Court Masterpiece. The selection has already proven himself a high-class handicapper, a view that was further cemented when he returned for the season to finish fourth at Lingfield. Both Moonlight Man and Psychiatrist look held on that form. That and several runs like it, plus the fact that he fares very well when you adjust the official ratings, means that he should give you a very good run for your money today. Leitrim House looks his biggest threat on adjusted ratings and, although he has yet to race this season, last season's Irish 2,000 Guineas fourth, looks the type to progress this term. Vanderlin is a solid benchmark to the value of the form of this race and Andrew Balding's six-year-old, who seems to like tracks of this nature, can also go well. With Fire Up The Band opposable on today's terms at this trip, and Auditorium having something to prove after two disappointing runs towards the end of last year, we return to the selection, which is Court Masterpiece.
