Nonrunner
In depth
Verdict
This could rest between the three recent winners Island Myth, Villa Sonata and Quantum, with preference for the last named. John Gosden's colt displayed improved form to beat Kerriemuir Lass in emphatic style at Newmarket last time. The runner up stormed in last time and so the form has a very solid look about it. Island Myth beat a decent field at Chepstow last time out and hails from a yard in great form. Meanwhile Villa Sonota gained an overdue success when beating William's Way at Windsor. The extra couple of furlongs is a bit of worry but she should still be in the shake up. Incidentally has first time blinkers fitted and if they have the desired effect he could also play a major role. However there was a l;ot to like about the style of Quantum's victory last time and he gets our vote.
