Cavalry Guard was turned over at odds of 1/4 over course and distance last time having run promisingly first time out but Henry Cecil's colt may be worth another chance here and is taken to open his account at the main expense of King's Apostle and Lawyer To World. The last mentioned was hampered early on his debut at Newmarket but ran much better at Kempton last time and he has claims on the evidence of that outing. Karoo Blue has shown gradual improvement with each start and is entitled to be thereabouts, while Graceful Steps is probably best watched on her debut. King's Apostle looks to be going the right way and he is another to consider but Cavalry Guard sets a fair standard and he gets the vote.
