Verdict
Another decent handicap to finish the days racing but this is a very tough race with plenty of decent horses in good nick. That being said a tentative vote goes to MAINSTAY who looks the most progressive individual in the line up ahead of South Cape and Truism. The John Gosden horse has only had the two runs to date due to taking a bit of time to come to hand. Now that she has there is every chance this handicap mark could prove a little bit lenient. She could to with a step up in trip but with 12 runners in a competitive handicap they should go a decent clip. South Cape is another horse in form and has won over the course and distance. His latest victory was a nice success and he beat a decent field. Course and distance form is always a huge plus here so even under his revised mark he'll be in the mix. Truism has an absence to overcome but is from a stable that are going well and is another with course form. Others to note in a very competitive race are Mujood, the well handicapped Monayhan and Swift Chap but Mainstay gets the tentative nod. Previews by Declan Rix
