John Gosden looks to have the key here with Muchly and SHAMBOLIC. The former scored at Newbury in October and put a moderate reappearance behind her when making all at Ascot where she only just held on. The selection is rated 2lb below her and though unable to cope with Maqsad in the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes at Newmarket the winner looked a bit special and the remainder were well beaten. Aloe Vera made an impressive debut in a Chepstow maiden where she finished very strongly after missing the break. She should be capable of much better and looks the main threat to the stable companions. Grace And Danger easily landed a Nottingham maiden on her debut and wasn't disgraced in the Cheshire Oaks so she can go well.
