In depth
Verdict
A poor race by Goodwood standards with plenty of disappointing and exposed types in opposition. A notable exception however is Beauchamp Quiz who is lightly raced and open to further progress. gerard Butler's charge will be sharper for his recent belated return and it will be a surprise if this late maturing type proves unable to capitalise from such a low rating. Hakam is a consistent type who should give another good account but may prove vulnerable to an improving type off his current mark while Dancing Water is in fair form but may struggle to concede weight all round.
